Chinese Chicken and Sweetcorn Soup

6 Total- 150 g Country Range Thick Chicken Soup Mix
- 3 Country Range Chicken Breast Fillets
- 3 pts cold water
- 1/4 tsp Country Range Chinese Five Spice
- 200 g Country Range Sweetcorn
- 100 g spring onions, sliced

Step 1
Add sufficient cold water to the soup mix and 5 spice powder to make a smooth paste, add remaining cold water and bring to the boil. -

Step 2
Place the chicken breasts in to the soup mix and simmer for 15 minutes stirring occasionally. -

Add the frozen sweetcorn and simmer for a further 5 minutes.. -

Step 4
Once the chicken is fully poached remove the breasts from the soup and pull the meat apart using 2 forks. -

Step 5
Serve the soup in bowls and garnish with the pulled chicken and sliced spring onions.
