Baked Halloumi with Hot Honey

Golden, oven-baked halloumi turns crisp at the edges and soft within, creating the perfect base for a glossy drizzle of warm, chilli-infused honey. The sweet heat seeps into the salty cheese, balancing richness with a gentle kick and creating an irresistible contrast of flavours. Finished with a touch of herbs or citrus for freshness, this simple yet bold dish is ideal as a sharing starter or an easy, flavour-packed centrepiece.

Ingredients

Increase Portion Size

ml Country Range Hot Honey
blocks of halloumi
ml olive oil
cherry tomatoes
red onion (cut into thin wedges)
cut red pepper
cut green pepper
cut yellow pepper
sliced cloves of garlic
handful sprigs of rosemary and thyme

Pre heat the oven to 220c / 200c fan

Cut eight slices into the halloumi, but not all of the way through, so it is still together

Place both into an oven proof dish and add all of the cut vegetables and herbs

Drizzle with olive oil and hot honey and bake in the hot oven for 12/15 mins

Remove from the oven and drizzle with more hot honey and serve with salads
