Sausage Casserole

Ingredients

Increase Portion Size

  • g Country Range Tomato and Basil Sauce
  •   tin Country Range 5 Bean Salad
  •   tsp Country Range Dried Thyme
  • g Sausages
  • ml vegetable oil
  •   diced onion
  •   diced green or yellow pepper
  •   crushed clove garlic
  •   chopped stick of celery
  •   pinch salt and pepper to taste

    Step 1

    Gently fry the red onion and pepper for 5 mins in veg oil
  • 2

    Step 2

    Add the crushed garlic and thyme and continue to fry for 2 mins
  • 3

    Step 3

    Add the 5 beans and tomato and basil sauce and simmer for 15 mins
  • 4

    Step 4

    Season to taste

    Step 5

    Bake the sausages in a pre heated oven at 200c/ 180c fan for 15 minutes
  • 6

    Step 6

    Add the sausages to the 5 beans casserole and simmer for 2 mins
  • 7

    Step 7

    Garnish with your favourite chopped herbs and serve with mashed potatoes
