**SAUCEPAN** 1. Place 225g rice in a medium saucepan and add 425ml cold water. 2. Bring to the boil, reduce heat to a simmer, stir, cover and allow to cook for 15 to 20 minutes.. 3. Remove from the heat and leave to stand for 5 minutes. Fluff up with a fork and serve. **MICROWAVE** 1. Put 250g (8oz) rice into a deep non-metallic bowl with 600ml (1 pint) of boiling water, adding salt if required. 2. Cover with cling film, cutting a few vents in the film. 3. Cook on full power for 10 minutes, stirring 1-2 times during cooking. Allow to stand for 5 minutes. 4. Fluff up with a fork and serve. **THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE FOR GUIDANCE ONLY.**
