Chick Pea Balls in Tomato Sauce

  • 400 g Drained Chick Peas
  • 4 Sliced Spring Onion
  • 2 Clove Garlic, crushed
  • 0.5 tsp Crushed Cumin Seeds
  • 0.5 tsp Crushed Coriander Seeds
  • 0.5 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 0.5 tsp Mixed Herbs
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Coriander
  • 1 Beaten Egg

Method

    Step 1

    To make the Chick Pea Balls place all the ingredients in a food processor and pulse until the mix comes together. You can shape the mix into even sized balls without them falling apart.

    Step 2

    Deep fry the chick pea balls for 2 mins and then carefully keep to one side

    Step 3

    Heat up your tomato and basil ready to use sauce and then place the chick pea balls in to warm up
  • 4

    Step 4

    Serve with cooked spaghetti some grated cheese
