Increase Portion Size
- tsp Country Range Ground Ginger
- tsp Country Range Ground Cinnamon
- g Country Range Plain Flour
- tsp Bicarbonate of soda
- g Light brown sugar
- egg
- g Icing sugar
- tbsp water
- Assorted Xmas edible sprinkles
- tbsp Golden syrup
- g Diced cold salted butter

Step 1
Pre heat the oven to 160cfan / 180c oven -

Sieve together the flour, bicarb, cinnamon and ginger into a bowl -

Add the sugar and diced butter and crumb to a sand like texture -

Add the egg and golden syrup and form together to a smooth dough -

Wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 1 hour -

Roll out the dough and use suitable Christmas cutters like gingerbread, stars and Christmas trees -

Carefully place each shape onto a parchment lined baking sheet and bake in the oven for 8/10 mins -

Mix together the icing sugar and water to form the royal icing. -

Pipe the icing and garnish with edible sprinkles
