King Prawn Paella
King prawn paella using smoked paprika

Ingredients
Increase Portion Size
- tsp Country Range Smoked Paprika
- g Country Range King Prawns
- g Short grain rice
- ml olive oil
- g Diced chorizo
- Finley diced onion
- Crushed cloves of garlic
- Diced red pepper
- g peas
- pinch saffron
- ltr Chicken or fish stock

Step 1
Fry the chorizo, onion, red pepper and garlic in the olive oil in a thick bottomed frying or paella pan -

Step 2
Add the short grain rice and coat in the vegetable and oil mix -

Add the paprika and saffron and add the chicken/fish stock -

Step 4
Simmer gently for 18 mins until the stock is absorbed by the rice -

Step 5
Add the peas and king prawns and place a lid on top and steam for 2 mins -

Step 6
Remove from the heat and allow to rest for 5 mins -

Step 7
Season to taste and serve
