Step 1Mix sufficient water with the tomato soup mix to make a smooth paste, blend in the remaining cold water, lentils and thyme.
Step 2Bring to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer gently for 20 minutes until the lentils have softened. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Step 3Serve hot, in deep bowls garnished with crispy bacon.
- 150 g Country Range Tomato Soup Mix
- 3 pts cold water
- 100 g Country Range Red Lentils
- 1 tbsp thyme, chopped
- crispy strips of bacon to garnish
