BAKING INSTRUCTIONS: Individual Scones - roll out and cut to the desired size. Finish with egg wash and flour, etc. Rest for 15 minutes and then bake at 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4 for approximately 10 minutes. Scone Rounds - scale at 225g/8oz, mould round and pin out. Place on baking sheets, cut into four and egg wash. Rest for 15 minutes and then bake at 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4 for approximately 15-20 minutes. Fruit scones - add 56g/2oz fruit per 450g/1lb dry mix. Other varieties which can be prepared include cherry, cheese, turnover and hot plate scones. These instructions are intended as a guide and may require changes to fit individual conditions.
MAKE UP INSTRUCTIONS Place required amount of mix (see table below) into a bowl and add the suggested amount of water. Using a beater blend the water in on slow speed for 1 minute. Store in cool and dry conditions away from direct sunlight and frost. Once opened, reseal the pack, store in cool and dry conditions.
